Sandoz participates in development project: “Quality Assured Essential Medicines for Ghana”

Sandoz 1 A Pharma is pleased to participate in the develoPPP.de (DPP) project “Quality Assured Essential Medicines for Ghana,” a three-year development partnership aimed at increasing access to high-quality, affordable medicines for patients in Ghana.
The project will be led by the German International Cooperation Agency, Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Internationale Zummenarbeit GmbH (GIZ) and financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
The DPP project will focus on increasing access to medicines throughout Ghana, including rural areas. In addition, it will aim to enhance local pharmaceutical manufacturing in Ghana, building production capacity and improving training of local pharmaceutical staff.
Other partners in the project include La Gray Chemical Company Ltd , a Ghanaian pharmaceutical manufacturer, and the Accra Institute of Technology (AIT).
Sandoz 1 A Pharma will provide training and support in its collaboration with La Gray Chemical Company Ltd to improve and increase the production of high-quality, affordable medicines in Ghana.
