Sandoz launches the first generic version of Hectorol®

Princeton, New Jersey, February 5, 2014 
Sandoz today announced the US launch of doxercalciferol injection vials, the first generic version of Genzyme's Hectorol®.

Doxercalciferol injection vials are indicated for the treatment of secondary hyperparathyroidism in patients with chronic kidney disease on dialysis.1

Sandoz is marketing doxercalciferol injection in 4 mcg/2mL single-dose vials.
